The online 3D printing service and community Pinshape has launched the first ever 3D printing contest in India for students between the ages of 14 and 30. The deadline for the contest, which is sponsored by Pinshape, Novabeans, Ultimaker, Shining 3D, and ShaperJet, is 11:59 p.m. PST on July 31, 2015. The top two prizes are 3D printers and the first through fourth places winners all get high-resolution 3D prints of their designs. Designs will be available for viewing and voting on the contest site. The contest itself is intended to raise awareness of 3D printing and its capacity to reshape the economy of India.
