In China, doctors have completed a surgery that most doctors would probably be unfamiliar with. They 3D printed a replica of a woman's shoulder, turned it into a mold and then had a titanium replacement created from it. The Titanium shoulder replacement was an exact match to the patients original shoulder, which had been eaten away at by a tumor. The surgery, which cost 10 million Chinese Yuan ended up being a complete success with the 27-year-old patient expected to make a full recovery within 6 months.
