Onyx Ashanti, a multi-faceted performance artist, musician, designer, 3D designer, and maker, is incredibly talented at iterative processes. He recently filled 3DPrint.com in on some of his latest projects, which incorporate 3D printing into wearable pieces--one for performance art, one for daily wear. The exo-voice, a "cyborg sonic interface," interacts with the wearer to produce innovative experiences based on sound, and the sensors, wires, and other pieces of the interface are completely 3D printed. Ashanti has also developed the exo-shoe, "footware" that integrates natural balance into this complete overhaul on traditional shoe design. Also almost 100% 3D printed, the exo-shoe is a modular design intended to be a "shoe replacement."
