Zurich, Switzerland-based artist Mark Bern has been creating art for more than two decades, but has only recently begun to show his skills in public exhibitions. He has created unique works of art based on pixelated designs, honing his craft in two dimensions. Bern has taken one of his works into the third dimension, though, using a 3D printer that can print in 540,000 different colors. Using composite raw materials, Bern's 3D printed piece -- which he considers a prototype, so we're hoping there will be more to come -- measures 16 x 1 x 3.3 cm and weighs only 0.8kg.
