    IR3 - Industrial Revolution III 3D printer & More

Following news of a prototype last year, UK-based Buzz Technology has finally launched a Kickstarter campaign to crowdfund their Industrial Revolution III (IR3) machine, an advanced manufacturing machine. The IR3 uses pick and place technology to fabricate objects with a variety of components within, as well as a collaborative product development platform. It has multiple extruders for FFF-based 3D printing, and can have modules like a potting system added on to it to enable the creation of stronger pieces, using a photosensitive resin and LEDs to cure the resin. The Kickstarter campaign has a goal to raise $150K. Find out more about this unique piece of equipment in the full article: http://3dprint.com/54057/industrial-revolution-iii-ir3/

    Oh yeah, very cool.

Presumably there'll eventually be the ability to print your own custom modules as well :-)
