Automate Tea Making with This 3D Printed Gadget
Follow Minnesota maker, Brian McEvoy’s easy, step-by-step instructions and produce your own Automatic Tea Maker. McEvoy sees no reason not to make a pretty easy task even easier--and more precise--with his Arduino-Mini-programmed, 3D-printed device for brewing the perfect cup of tea. He shared his invention, including instructions for programming and soldering on the DIY site, Instructables, where he’s known as the “24 Hour Engineer.” More details on this incredible 3D printed tea maker can be found here: http://3dprint.com/53259/3d-printed-tea-maker/

Here is another version:
What do you do when you want to steep a nice cup of tea but would prefer to dedicate those four minutes to something else? Why you work for a couple of hours to create a simple machine that can do it for you, of course! Andy Leer channeled the spirit of the great Rube Goldberg when he created a robotic 3D printed tea steeping machine that gently raises and lowers a tea bag in and out of hot water to create the perfect cup of tea.
