Australian developer Kevin Chan knows full well that robotics and 3D printing go together as a perfect match. Chan has recently created his own 3D printable robot that uses a smartphone, rather than expensive electronics, for the robot's body and computer system. 'MobBob,' the robot, is a biped robot that walks on two "feet" and is a cost-effective way for anyone with a 3D printer and a smartphone to make their own functional robot. Chan designed MobBob using Blender and printed the pieces on his UP! Plus 2 3D printer -- then made those files available on Thingiverse so anyone can create their own MobBob. Find out more about MobBob, including videos of the 'bot in action, in the full article: http://3dprint.com/53034/mobbob-3d-printed-robot/
