Bryan Salt says the Open Board Game framework, a 3D printed set of play pieces and interlocking board bricks, has been in development for the last 6 months through a series of hundreds of prototypes and possible layouts. The result, what Salt calls a “trouble free, easy to print, interconnecting board that can be adapted and refined,” includes internal support structures for the addition of lights, servos, sensors and mini controllers capable of making parts move and interact with a game design. The company behind the framework, Thinker Thing, are running an IndieGoGo campaign to refine the game. You can read the whole story here: http://3dprint.com/51470/framework-3...ng-board-games
