Nikola Tesla was one of the most brilliant inventors in history, responsible for AC power development -- and for inspiring generations of tech innovators. David Choi is one of those lifelong Tesla fans, and he has recently brought 3D printing together with a Tesla design to create an inventive desk lamp. His 'Wirelessly Powered Tesla Desk Lamp,' which he created on his MakerBot Replicator 5th Generation 3D printer, operates at 6.5 MHz and powers a 25W Tesla light bulb. The design is available on Thingiverse. Find out more about the invention, in Choi's own words, in the full article: http://3dprint.com/46711/tesla-desk-lamp/
