SOLS, a company dedicated to creating custom-fitted wearables including orthotics and even prototypes for 3D printed shoes, has just announced a successful round of Series B funding. The company has announced that they have raised $11.1 million in Series B funding, with investors including Lux Capital and Founders Fund, which also participated in Series A funding, as well as "significant new investments" from Tenaya Capital and Melo7 Tech Partners. The funding will assist in SOLS' plan for direct-to-consumer availability of their products this year. SOLS has also announced a new addition to their Board of Directors, welcoming Terdema Ussery, President and CEO of the Dallas Mavericks. Further NBA involvement in SOLS' growth comes from New York Knicks player Carmelo Anthony, who is a co-founder of new investor Melo7 Tech Partners.
