3HTi Signs on To Become Reseller for MarkForged
Greg Mark spent the early years of his career building carbon fiber wings to improve the aerodynamics of race cars, and it was as a result of that work that he decided to form his company, MarkForged, to build the Mark One 3D printer which could reinforce nylon parts with the high strength material. Now MarkForged has signed a deal with 3HTi which means that company will be an authorized reseller of the innovative printer. 3HTi is offering not just the printer, but also weekly webinars about its use and potential. Beckatt Solutions has announced that they have added the MarkForged Mark One Composite 3D Printer to their range of products as an authorized reseller. The Mark One is the first 3D printer capable of printing continuous carbon fiber, Kevlar, and fiberglass parts matching the strength and durability of metal using a pairing of a Composite Filament Fabrication (CFF) printhead and a FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) printhead. The resulting composite parts are up to 5 times stronger and 20 times stiffer than parts made from standard materials.
