3D printed medical models have been making the headlines long enough now for us to have seen some real results from their use. Germany's MMM GmbH is a medical technology service provider, offering its AnatomX series for patient-specific bone and organ anatomical models, and the Hospital Dahme-Spreewald is one institution using these models. Doctors at the hospital have seen success for such 3D printed models as one of a pelvis, which was seen to notably reduce the operating and recovery times for a 27-year-old patient.
