Phillip Houghton had something else in mind when he thought about creating his own RC vehicle, a bit different from the 4-wheeled car most of us would probably think of. Based on the Invader tc-3 sports trike, Houghton set about designing his own three-wheeled radio-controlled vehicle. He designed the trike using AutoCAD, changing dimensions as he realized what would work best for the vehicle's stability, then 3D printed it using his modified Da Vinci 3D printer. While it's drivable and performs decently, Houghton is still refining the design, especially the suspension. Find out more about his process and plans in the full article (complete with video of the trike in action): http://3dprint.com/44225/3d-printed-rc-trike/
