Matt Wahlers, whose Thingybot 3D printer did not reach its Kickstarter funding goal last summer, is back with a new 3D printer for which he is seeking crowdfunding. Based on the popular Delta style of FFF 3D printer, the new Thingystock is inspired by the Rostock machine of the RepRap movement. The Thingystock is itself 3D printable, expandable, and will eventually be open source. Wahlers plans to make the design files for the Thingystock available for free download even if the campaign doesn't reach its $5,000 funding goal. While the Thingystock's base build envelope is 150 x 150 x 200 mm, it can be expanded to fit the needs and design desires of a particular user.
