the gap between the bed and the nozzle changed when you worked on the nozzle.. My guess the nozzle to bed gap to much... if thats not it, check the nozzle temp

I think I know where the springs go... can the rods that make up the arms be slipped into the end loops? (ball joints removed) I think they remove any play in the ball joints by pulling the parallel...
