cura 2.7 not working with win 10 home WHY

Hi,

Can any one advise me as to why Cura 2.7 should not work with my Windows 10 home OS, and what is more, i get a missing .dll showing up VCRUNTIME140.dll , which, i might add, is present in system 32 so, would like some opinions as to why this should be; being that this is my first venture into 3D modelling and as yet to get my CTC printer, perhaps some might think their is a better and more usable software package other than Cura 2.7 being a total beginner that is, look forwards to your advice................
