Researchers Experiment with Lemon Juice in 3D Printed Food

Researchers in China have been experimenting with the use of a lemon juice gel in 3D printing with food. Accompanied by potato starch, they have created a suitable base for 3D printed food, demonstrated by a fudge-like and chewy texture. Along with experimenting with how the base would taste and work to create different foods, the researchers also examined how the base performed with a variety of nozzles.
