Aleph Objects updates Cura at Maker Faire

Aleph Objects is releasing a new, updated version of their Cura LulzBot Edition software at this week’s Maker Faire New York. The updated software adds a new Quickprint Profile for twenty different types of materials from a wide variety of manufacturers. The new profiles will include preloaded printer settings that have been optimized for both the materials being used, and the 3D printer that it will be used with. It will also include material categories that will label materials based on the skill level required to use them, including First Run, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert.
