3D Printing locally?

How can I find out a place locally where I can take my design and have something printed? I know there are websites like Shapeways, but I'd prefer to walk into a store/warehouse and print it myself. Does anyone know if there is anything like this in Florda? Seems like there is a growing demand for it.

There are a few directories of 3D printing providers. Might be able to find something useful.

Unless you are in a big city there probably aren't many places (at least in the US) that do this yet. However, in the coming months and years I'm sure we will begin seeing more options become available in more rural areas.
