Rose for Valentines

Hi everyone,

Just thought we would share with you our 3D printed rose. Of course yesterday being Valentines day we couldn't resist printing some of the great designs circulating the popular download sites such as thingiverse. \

And all credit to the original designer. The model is designed really well.

We printed the flower in our Red PLA filament and the stem in our Green PLA filament. You can pick up a spool of both filaments at our online store here: www.3dexfilament.co.uk

We used a layer height of 0.2mm, an infill of 15% and a print speed of 70mm/s which gave a good result whilst not taking forever to print!

The two parts were stuck together with regular contact adhesive which gives a very strong bond on our PLA.

Overall we are very pleased with the finished result (and I'm pleased to report that she was too!)
