New Method of Wire-feed 3D Printing

Reserachers at Australia's University of Wollongong have written an excellent introduction and overview to the less often considered additive manufacturing process known as wire-feed. In the article, they present a summary of the current state of practice as well as projections for future research. Despite being written for an academic journal, the article is surprisingly accessible and gives a high quality summary of the issues facing wire-feed additive manufacturing today.
