Textron Aviation & GE Team Up to Produce Cessna Denali with 3D Printed Engine

Textron Aviation and GE have come together to produce a luxury private plane that is completely unique as it is a turboprop model featuring jet engine technology and all the comforts that come along with a jet. Able to fly a route from Los Angeles to Chicago, or New York to Miami, the Cessna Denali features an engine made with numerous 3D printed parts. It also decreases fuel usage by 20%, while increasing power by 10%. Priced at $4.8 million, this private plane offers jet technology at an entry level price. Both Textron and GE unveiled the concept, along with a mock-up for the 3D printed engine, earlier this week at the EAA AirVentures Airshow.
