ive assemble my ender 3 today but its not printing i get some filament coming out during pla preheat but when i start the print the nozzle just move around no pla coming out. ive set my bed so a piece of paper can pass under the nozzle with slight resistant. what could be the problem? what temp should i set my head and bed for the test pla that comes with the kits.
A Good Starting Temperature is 200C.
Note the extruder Stepper will not move until the temperature is 170C or above. Safety feature.
Filament will not extrude until the temperature reaches the melting point of the filament; though you should hear clicking from the stepper mechanism.
On one of my 3D Printers the extruder stepper was turning in the reverse direction, had to reverse the wiring for stepper to turn the correct direction.
