MakerBot Inoovation Lab Comes to FIU

Florida International University's College of Architecture + Art will be the first design and art focused college in the US to house an Innovation Lab, featuring a MakerBot Innovation Center with 30 Replicator desktop 3D printers and all of the support it needs to function through MakerBot's Management Platform. The space is dedicated to all of the arts, with performance, classroom, and gallery space as well. This is a fitting vision for a technology that continues to grown and influence art and design innovation across the spectrum. Now, with the grand opening of the FIU Innovation Lab on September 29, 2015 at Miami Beach Urban Studios, a little piece of 3D printing in higher education history will be made.
