Auburn University and NASA Sign 3D Printing-Related Space Act Agreement

John Mason, the Auburn University vice president for research and economic development, says additive manufacturing will be the focus of a partnership with NASA to provide the university an opportunity to combine capabilities and expertise. It's one of a number of partnerships with businesses and organizations to spur economic growth, and Mason says such relationships benefit students and companies in terms of practical, applied solutions. A Space Act Agreement Auburn and NASA signed will also advance practices in STEM disciplines by engaging students and teachers in the many NASA missions and opportunities.
