3D Printing Company Stratasys To Acquire Solid Concepts and Harvest Technologies

Boy has today been a busy one for the two largest 3D printing companies out there. After 3D Sysstems announced their acquisition of Medical Modeling Inc, Stratasys announced that they will be acquiring both Solid Concepts and Harvest Technologies in all cash deals.

Both companies are major players in the outsourcing industry for prototyping via additive manufacturing. This will put Stratasys in a leading position within the industry.
