Was all set to buy a FlashForge Creator Pro

Only one. Why would you buy it from them more expensively on eBay, when you can buy it directly from them for less? ;)

and yes, if I didn't have my 3D printer already, I'd have no problem picking one of these up.

Unless you are a born tinkerer, I wouldn't buy from an unknown company as you increase your chances to get stuck without support. Take this into account when choosing your manufacturer.
