Temperature solid and food safe filament

Hello everybody,

I am looking for a filament that is still solid in temperatures of 200°C and can generally come into contact with food (for private use only).

Specifically:
I would like to print kitchen accessories, including a gripper for the fryer or fondue. The accessories should also be stable for a few minutes in boiling oil (180-200°C).

Do you have a recommendation for a filament? Preferably available in continental Europe.

I own an unmodified Prusa i3 MK3S+. But I can imagine to buy extra accessories for printing. If so what?

yes such filaments do exist.
No you can't print them on a prusa :-)

PEEK is the best hi-temp filament around.
be aware it can cost in excess of 500 euros per kg.
Needs a hi-temp heated build volume and a printing nozzle that goes to 400c and a print bed that can hit 200c minimum.

I can't think of anything else that can withstand such temperatures.

However what you can do.
is to make your tongs from pla.
create a mould from clay or plaster or similiar and then make some resin or hard silicon tongs with your new mould.
Hi temperature resistant resins are fairly cheap and easy to get.

Or go to a euro store and buy some cheap metal tongs :-)
