Orbital ATK Successfully Tests 3D Printed Combuster for NASA

Aerospace and defense contractor Orbital ATK recently tested a hypersonic engine combustor at NASA's Langley Research Center. The combustor was 3D printed through powder bed fusion, and was subject to a series of tests over 20 days to ensure it could stand up to extremely high temperatures and volatile conditions.
