An Interesting 3D Printing Growth Stat

I saw this stat the other day and thought it was interesting.

Those who are down on 3D Printing, saying it's over hyped, usually use the line

Here is my response:
A study on the growth of 3D Printing was performed in 2010. It found that growth in the 3D Printed market was a total of 23% from 1987 to 2010, while growth in 2010 alone was over 25%. The market is exploding, and this is just the very beginning in my opinion.

Pretty amazing stats. There is no doubt in my mind that 3D Printing is getting more popular. It's growth in my opinion seems to be exponential. Within a few more years I think we will see 3D printing take the world by storm.
