Taekyeom Lee Creates His Own Clay 3D Printer

Taekyeom Lee, an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at Appalachian State University, is an ambitious, creative and extremely patient individual who, with little background in ceramics or engineering, decided to build his own clay printer. He started with a basic RepRap delta kit and, after two years of research and trial and error, has created a printer that creates gorgeous, complex pieces out of multiple types of clay.
