Recent issues with print quality

i have a kaywoo 3d tycoon max and an anycubic i3 mega. when i first got each of these printers my print quality was very good consistently. but like someone hitting a switch the quality has completely changed. im thinking it must be a cura issue but ive played and tweaked a bunch of settings without much luck.

doesnt seem to matter which filament i use and i get these results. these were printed with pla+. trying to make my niece a set of minion earings
any advice would be awesome.
