A lot of companies hype their products long before anyone sees them in person. Sometimes they work as advertised and sometimes they never make it to market. We will see in six months if these live up to their promise? in the meantime, we can touch and feel the Ultimaker, Makerbots and Cube Pro and see how they print.

Overall, I read that the real life results of the Gen 5 Makerbots are disappointing and many users are returning them and getting their money back. Their new extruder design is a nightmare! The Ultimaker 2 is generally printing well, after a small hiccup and some upgraded extruder parts and the Cube Pro is in the hands of select Beta testers and doing very well.

Honestly, I have seen a DaVinci print and I wasn't very impressed. The resolution doesn't seem to be good at all. You see a ton of lines in the prints.
