3D Printed Smartwatches

Probably two of the biggest tech trends over the next five years will be wearables and 3D printing. One company, with the help of Stratasys has combined the two.... sort of. Industrial Plastic Fabrications is using Stratasys' Objet Connex 3 printers to print out prototypes for an upcoming smartwatch type of wearable. In doing so they are allowed to mimic actual colors as well as materials. We may not be printing actual smartwatches any time soon, however, this may be the first step.
