Emendo STL repair software

Emendo is a horrible product. There is a reason they don't allow a trial use of their software. I was concerned about buying something untested and my gut instinct proved correct. I sent them a file that was giving me trouble and the CEO sent me an image of the repaired file assuring me that it had been fixed. I bought Emendo with their assurances that it would work only to find out that the file may have appeared repaired on the front, but was in fact, still unrepaired on the back side. Not only was I unable to reproduce their stated results, but the software kept crashing and was unbelievably slow. I told them that I had downloaded a competitors software that was able to fix this badly made file in less than 4 seconds and that their software could not after churning away for over an hour and often crashing in the attempt.

The reply I received was always an excuse and blaming me for the file I made (even thought their competitor fixed it with no problem) and never answering the questions of constant crashing, length of time to repair a file and the odd anomaly of importing a file into Emendo and it would be invisible so you couldn't see what you were repairing. I asked for a full refund for the failure of a product and due to their false claims as to its effectiveness. Crickets. They didn't even give me the courtesy of a response.


I do not recommend this product. I should have followed my own instinct never to buy software I can't try out. Lousy product, lousy company and lousy service.
