While some are skeptical as to how far ‘this 3D printing thing’ will actually go, many see it as having accelerated far beyond what they would have ever expected. In hearing what an industry expert like Christine Furstoss of GE has to say, however, one realizes the balance between amazing innovations already on the ground (going into space) and how far there is yet to go as speed and versatility still need to be improved in 3D printing machinery, materials, and 3D software.
