Has anyone tried Stratasys Ultem 9085 filament in a MakerBot 5th gen? (I have a Z18). It is super-strong, aerospace-certified filament.
I assume it might work if a custom setting was created with the same temperature and speed settings from a Stratasys Fortus FDM machine.
The Z18 doesn't have a heated bed, but I'm contemplating making a heated base using PC board with a power source.
Any reasons why not to try this or other non-PLA filaments?
