Former Army Sergeant Lisamarie Wiley lost her left leg when she stepped on an IED while serving as an interrogator in Afghanistan. Now an advocate for military veterans, Sergeant Wiley is outspoken about the needs for advances in prosthesis that cater to women amputees, and she insists that it isn’t simply about vanity.
