Ender-2 Y axes limiter not working?

I just got the Creality Ender-2 as my second printer. I finally got it all built but it seems that the Y axes limiter isn't working, when i first got the printer going I tried to auto level the bed and the bed went back and hit the limiter then kept trying to go, like the limiter hadnt noticed it touch it and didnt stop bed. I tried again this morning and tried to do auto home to test it and it happened again. Any suggestions? I dont know if it the cables or if i need to get a new limiter. Also if theres any settings on the printer to change? help appreciated
