SpotiBear - The 3D Printed Spitify Enabled Music Learning Tool

3D printed SpotiBear began as a fun project that wasn’t actually meant to develop into a product, but between Andreas Lindahl and Pär Johansson, they ended up with a 3D printed electronic bear that not only has the polished, streamlined look of a classic toy, it connects to Spotify and plays songs, lullabies, and stories. Lindahl handled all aspects of design, while Johansson figured out all the inner workings of SpotiBear in terms of hardware and coding. The 3D printed arms were each composed of six pieces, and Lindahl used threading to connect the joints and other pieces. SpotiBear plays music after the supervising users connect to the Spotify app and create a network — and playlist — to get tunes flowing from the 3D printed bear.
