How is 3D printing affecting the digital design industry?

Hello, I'm Nat.

I'm a student working on digital media development course and I am working on a case study based around 3D printing.
The case study is looking at how 3D printing can and is affecting digital designers work. The objective of the study is to understand what 3D printing is able to do for designers, To learn why they it's used and how it affects designers, and to get a better understanding of the uses of 3D printing.
