IM using kinectfusion explorer d2d and when I use it it scans right away, but then it stops scanning? Is it the settings? is it because of the sunlight? i don't think its the sunlight because otherwise it woulddn't stop traight away.

These scanners won't work in sunlight; that was one of the first things I noticed about them. But it wasn't like it worked for a while and then stopped - it didn't work at all. Try scanning in a different light situation and see if it works better.
they answered me this way If I'm not mistaken, the Kinect scanner has a fairly low maximum polygon limit. Maybe you're running out and it's stalling?
how can I get the polygon count limit up? it never gets to be enough for the whole 360 scan
