"Long Bed" 3D Printer

Born out of a conversation regarding what would be cool to have in a 3D printer, Instructables member dmserve, also known as Dennis, built out two prototypes within six months. The first prototype of the 3D printer, known as ‘Little Red,’ helped the team identify what they needed to change and several months later Dennis produced ‘Big Red,’ with a long bed, made almost entirely of 3D printed plastic, and able to produce another 3D printer nearly identical to it.
