DOD Deputy Secretary Checking out 3D Printing at US Army Research Lab

During a visit to the US Army Research Laboratory, the Department of Defense’s Deputy Secretary Robert O. Work had the opportunity to check out the latest military-grade technological innovations. Scientists and engineers showcased a number of their ongoing projects, including multi-material 3D printing, robotics, drone technology and more. The lab’s scientists demonstrated their progress in 3D printing, showcasing a machine that is capable of printing with metals, ceramics, polymers, and glass.
