Does anyone know if there is a way to connect the Digitizer directly to the Replicator 2 or 2X to directly copy a 3D object, or if it is necessary to scan it into a computer first and then print it?
I'm not 100% certain on this, but I believe I saw a video where they were doing just this. I would think you could hook a PC up to both devices and basically do this with one command, similar to a 2D scanner/printer working as a photo copy machine.
