Did anybody had problems with this board before?Soon after I change it I got under excursion all the time. Even after calibrating the e-steps. Got a aluminium excruder and did not have problems with it before I change that damn board. On my last print it stop in the middle of printing and my screen just switch of. It dosen't work anymore. Schould I just swich back on the stock board?
I am pretty sure the mainboard of the day to upgrade your Creality ender 3 to is the SKR 1.3. This mainboard is 32 bit and will let you run the lv8729 drivers at 1/64 or even 1/128 micro stepping. This board costs right around $20 wherever you find it. And it is one of if not the most popular swap solution for your printer. I just found out that the board is burned!I was hoping that it's just lose connection on the power input as the fan in the power supply works and it's the only working thing. Will swap the mainboard to my old one. I did only 1.5 prints on it...What a peace of crap. Hope it's just a faulty unit. Both prints of it have heavy under excursion + the excruder was making loud noise while retraction. Will message them to send a nother one.
It's a waste of money. I got the SKR 1.2 and it arrived defective, the stock LCD screen won't work with it and it refuses to update firmware. The manufacturer has been no help of any sort getting it to work and refuses to replace/refund the purchase.Quote:

I'd personally look elsewhere unless you're prepared to deal with the headaches that come from a board that has no documentation and firmware that will likely need to be compiled.

If I get just the board will it work more silent then the stock ender 3 one?

The board will work with your screen but you will need to get silent drivers. I think you should get these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/FYSETC-Subs...dDbGljaz10cnVl . They are silent at 1/64 micro stepping which is achieved with jumpers on for MS0 and MS2 leaving MS1 open. They are also silent at 1/128 micro stepping which does incredible things for your print quality. This is achieved with all 3 jumpers in place under each driver. OR, there is the latest revision TMC2208 drivers here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/KOOKYE-Prin...xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ== . These drivers will be configured with jumpers in MS0 and MS1 leaving MS2 open under each driver. They will run in stealthchop2 with 1/16 micro stepping. and will be quiet with a lower step count per mm of movement. Once you get the quiet drivers up and going Noctua are the real silent fans you want to start getting.

I try to use Atom but it dosen't work on my PC. I just need this for one go. Do you see any problems in that log?
Or is it possible for you to compile and send that file so I could drag it on my SSD?

watch the videos. but from what I see in your post it looks like it failed to connect to your board. They are a specific walkthrough step by step on setting up this mainboard. If it doesn't work for you then you need to re watch the video from its start. Or watch the other video. They are both comprehensive setup guides for the SKR 1.3.

I think this may be the problem. I try already uninstal this driver and plug the board back in hoping it to reinstall correctly but nothing. Installed the drivers from the marlin folder but not too much difference
A little update. I finally upload that firmaware. Had to use my friends laptop. It seems like after you try to connect the board 2nd time that's it. You need to try on another computer.
After I connected everything and switch it on it seems to work but it dosen't see the SD card.

init. media is the SD card? I can't load it. I can't even preheat anything. It's not in the options. So the only thing what works is auto home. Is it the firmware? In case of any updates how do I ment to do it?
I finally got the SD card working after all this time. It's nice and quiet now. But still got issues with it. I noticed then after I auto home it the nozzle never goes down to the Z stop. It even goes slightly higher. and after starting the print the nozzle just rams in to the bed.
Those is my end stop and movement settings.
Does anybody can see any problems related to that issue?

If when you try to home any axis and it goes the wrong way a bit and stops then we can only assume we either have that endstop unplugged, wired to nc or no when it should be the other way, or we have our endstop inverting set wrong. What is happening is the controller thinks the axis is at its endstop position so it tries to move it away from the endstop. If it starts moving and does not see a change of state on that min endstop then it will know there is a problem and just stop.

It turned out I had a bit of problems with connectivity of my Z stop sensor. That was a bit of my own fault as I had to use a bit of soldering to extend the wire.
It's printing now but from some reason every time before the print it starts retracting few cm of the filament.
It's a minor problem for now as I can feed it back manually but after I'm gone go back to flexibles it may cause a lot of problems.

Well i can see that none of that applies to you as there are still those // in front of the top line. If that's what you mean. And i don't think that will help you anyways. Explain better to me your problem, man. When the extruder heats up the filament will ooze out a little on it's own. This effect makes the nozzle empty when the print first starts. This happens without the extruder motor turning. Just from heat. To combat this we can setup a nozzle wipe at the start of each print and we can go into our slicer settings and command a loop or two around the print before it starts to prime the nozzle. Is this the problem you are having or is your extruder motor actually turning the wrong way at the start of your print?
Think there was just something wrong with that g code of the "normal dog" sample from Creality. Maybe the file got corrupted or something. It was making a bit retraction just before beginning of the print. But the main fan on the hotend doesn't work at all. Thought it may kick in on certain layer. But just the side one is working
The fan that blows on the heatsink should be connected directly to power. The fan that blows just below the nozzle to cool the filament should connect to the mainboard and it gets configured in marlin and also in your slicer
Does the fan that blow at the heatsink should blow straight after you switch on the printer?
My multi meter does not show any voltage when checking the power socked for the fan

Got it going now. They both work now but on 100% speed or 0. If I try to lower it down even to 99% it will stop.
