Students Create Self-replicating, Mobile, Space Traveling 3D Printer

Students in South Africa have created a RepRap based 3D printer that is completely mobile. It uses a LEGO EV3 to get around rugged surfaces and then determine where a suitable 3D printing surface is. The printer, called the Delta 3 3d printer also features the ability to self-replicate (based on RepRap). The students plan to enter it into the World Robot Olympiad later next week in hopes to win.
