York Archaeological Trust Uses 3D Technology to Learn about Gladiators

1,800 years ago, if you lived in York, England--called Eboracum by the ancient Romans who’d extended their empire to the far reaches of the British Isles--you could have been witness to some serious, heart-pounding, gladiatorial combat. Thanks to 3D technology, scientists with the York Archaeological Trust are learning more about how some of those legendary, ancient Roman fighters lived and died.
