Report: Technologies like 3D Printing are Swiftly Being Adopted by Manufacturers

SME has revealed the results of their survey which collected information from 618 manufacturing professionals who each gave their answers to 20 multiple-choice questions regarding plans for adding or results of adding advanced manufacturing to their companies. Advanced manufacturing is comprised of a multitude of technologies, but robotics an 3D printing are major components. The majority are planning to spend substantial sums over the next two years to implement advanced manufacturing, with 42% recommending the addition of 3D printing.
