Global Developer DSM Making 3D Printing Materials

Global materials developer DSM has been indirectly involved in the 3D printing materials market for a while, as their photosensitive polymers are ideal for the manufacture of 3D printer filament. Now, however, they've decided to begin manufacturing their own filament rather than just selling the raw materials. The Arnitel ID and Novamid ID filaments will hit the market shortly, to be distributed by Nexeo Solutions - which is apparently taking aim at the 3D printing market themselves with a soon-to-be-launched new division called Nexeo 3D Solutions.
